Commercial Perfume Shipments from China: Carrier Approval and Quote Checklist
What details should a brand send before requesting a perfume freight quote?
Start with the exact product and shipment
Perfume formulations may contain flammable alcohol and be regulated as dangerous goods for transport. Acceptance depends on the formulation, packaging, quantity, route and carrier service.
Make the handoff actionable
Provide the current SDS, flash point where reported, bottle and inner-pack configuration, carton quantities, gross weight, pickup/destination and requested mode. Wait for written route acceptance before confirming production packing.
Confirm the boundary before cargo moves
A retail-ready perfume box does not automatically meet transport packaging requirements. Never describe perfume as ordinary cosmetics to bypass review.
Prepare a quote request
Include the product name and model, supplier city and pickup address, destination ZIP code, cargo-ready date, total pieces, packed dimensions and gross weight. State whether freight is palletized, stackable, temperature-sensitive or subject to special handling. For regulated or restricted goods, attach the current product documents and request written carrier review before delivery to the warehouse. Review the [relevant ANELGO service page](/services/perfume-aerosol-shipping.html) and send the details through the [shipment inquiry form](../index.html#quote).
