Importing Bluetooth Products from China: FCC and Freight Handoff Checklist
What product data should be ready before a Bluetooth shipment moves?
Start with the exact product and shipment
Radio-frequency devices can require FCC equipment authorization or other compliance steps depending on the device and configuration. Shipping and customs documents should accurately describe the actual product.
Make the handoff actionable
Ask the US compliance owner to confirm the device authorization path, model identity, labeling and supporting records. Match SKU/model details on the commercial invoice, packing list and carton labels; declare batteries and wireless functions accurately for carrier screening.
Confirm the boundary before cargo moves
A supplier’s statement that a product is “FCC certified” is not enough to establish that the shipped model and configuration are covered. Check the FCC rules and authorization records.
Prepare a quote request
Include the product name and model, supplier city and pickup address, destination ZIP code, cargo-ready date, total pieces, packed dimensions and gross weight. State whether freight is palletized, stackable, temperature-sensitive or subject to special handling. For regulated or restricted goods, attach the current product documents and request written carrier review before delivery to the warehouse. Review the [relevant ANELGO service page](/services/battery-electronics-shipping.html) and send the details through the [shipment inquiry form](../index.html#quote).
